Lovely experience with Aegean. The crew felt with some extremely rude customers with professionalism and poise. The flight went off without a hitch and even landed early!
When a flight has a delay of about an hour it is customary to announce the passengers

I liked bumping up to Business for less than full price. Also the option to choose your own meal online. In retrospect I would have gone with the standard meal option, but c'st la vie. Overall pretty standard flight, got good views of Greece as the sun rose. That's about it.
It was a short flight (2hours) so the tiny, tiny seats were somewhat tolerable. People with long legs had their knees up to the chair in front of them, quite uncomfortable. I was pleasantly surprised they served a small meal which was quite good. Staff were all great.
Boarding in BCN was really poorly managed. No communication from airline staff and no signs as to what groups line up where. It was just guessing. There were delays that were also not communicated so everybody was standing in line for almost an hour.
they were good. they coordinated pick up of luaggage at final destination. The had text updates on phone with gate/dep.time etc.

Flight was late leaving which made connecting in Athen very hard. Baggage took an hour to come out. Come on… for such a small plane. Need to step up your game Aegean!
The crew were incredible, especially with how unruly many of the travelers were. Loved the pots and hummus and the food in general. The leg room in economy was plentiful, which was a very pleasant surprise!
Did not expect too much, but an initiative to serve a small water bottle without asking for it would be appreciated. A small snack pack would be very nice too. Coffe any one?. Yes - you'll get an over heated chicken sandwich as the on board meal. Sorry - nothing to write home about.
The crew was fantastic, and it was croweded but roomy enough. But the sandwich was horrible and no entertainment at all which is difficult in a flight of more than 4 hours.
We were 3 people together and they seated us apart. My wife and I were both in middle seats which were very tight
The seats in business class were the worse I have ever experienced.
Check-in was quick and boarded plane on time. Seats were comfortable, large screen entertainment, slept almost entire flight. Staff was pleasant. What is great about ELAL is their safety, and ability to take a large carrey on trolley and no one cares about size or weight. No one is taken out of line because of excess hand luggage like they do on Wiz or RYANAIR.
My suitcase was severely damaged. I didn't realize the degree until after I exited the luggage area. I submitted an online form and was informed it might be a few weeks until someone got back to me. Ridiculous. I have to return to the USA with it?!
2 hours on the tarmac then another 20 minutes at the gate make for a poor experience
Very old plane, small, no screens, no charging ports. It was 4 hour of pain! I would not recommend this flight, not to mention that it costed $800, which is a total ripoff. Don't recommend!
Poor food. No seats screens only WiFi and not text messages. No in flight information for the flight . Took off one hour late.
Tirana was crazy check in and getting bussed to another gate. Both Germany stops were intensive customs but organized, but that wasn't the airlines problem. The crews were fabulous on the planes. The announcements were not easy to understand in English, slurred speech. Customs inthe US were fast. We waited for luggage, three later arriving planes had their luggage and left before us
Business class old style from 10 years ago. Ok for short flights but nor for 12 hours journey. The passenger near the window have to jump over the passenger seat aisle side or wake him up to upright the seat. That’s not the business class that you expect on long night flight. Seats are not so confortable. And believe it or not no wifi!
We have travelled on 13 December with Austrian Airlines from Yangon through Bangkok and Vienna to Varna. The first flight operated by Thai Airlines was nice and comfortable. I wouldn’t say the same thing about the next two flights which were operated directly by the Austrian Airlines. During our flight from Bangkok to Vienna: > The service was very poor – serving of food and drinks was disorganized, late and not combined, the stewards were walking back and forth without doing anything substantial for the passengers. Even the morning breakfast was very late with a cup of coffee almost while landing (after a reminding). > The food itself was OK-ish but for a 12-hour flight, there were no snacks/bites in between dinner and breakfast as it is with the other airlines. > The cutlery was wooden, most probably recycling, but very unpleasant to eat with. > The stewards were not rude but not friendly and/or helpful > And also, half of the passengers had travel sets, others did not. The flight from Vienna to Varna was another surprise: firstly, the flight was late and secondly, they were serving only water free, even the coffee was paid, so were the snacks, but we had to pay to reserve seats. The whole experience is as if it was a low-cost airline. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend using the services of Austrian Airlines: the ticket prizes are quite the same as of the other carriers flying to this destination and you would have much pleasant time.
Friendly staff, always good food , as comfortable as it can be in economy
Business class is not worth it. Not comfortable and old plane with no privacy or enough space unless you on the single seats
We didn’t fly into Neuark , because it departed without us . We ran to a closed gate , and no staff to assist, then to a customer service center that was also closed, then briskly walked (20mins) to another customer center and got a ticket , waited 2 hours , got a flight to JFK instead, because of the time delay we Ran to catch our train home , and again our luggage arrived 3 days later delivery time at 3:45 in the MORNING!!!! Crazy!!!!!! Took a few days to shake off this disappointment of your service. You’re an embarrassment to customer service .
A bellow average experience. A delayed flight , no staff to assist , running and panic to connecting flight , 2 hour wait for customer service. No luggage when we arrived , luggage delivered 3 days after at 3:45 AM !!!! Much stress and anxiety from this experience. Please repair your Brand .

Leg room and seat back not a good recline (middle seat)
Seats weren’t comfortable. Both of our seat backs were either almost straight vertical or laying back into the laps of the people behind us, which is a weird angle to try to get some sleep even on a plane. No in between. Also, neither seat would spring forward like they should.
There wasn't a time for neither food morning entertainment in a short one hour hop over.

You idiots…ITA cancelled our flights one month out and we had to buy new tickets at a much higher price. You stiffed us by not refunding the cost of the insurance. I’ll never buy through Kayak again.
It was horrible the woman next to me was sick and I asked if they would change my seat and they said that they didn’t have any available. I sat next to this women for 9 hour and now I am sick .
We booked and purchase our seats in February for a September flight. We choose seats then also, did the online check in on the app the day before and all was fine. At the airline check in they charged our seats and we were not even sitting together after paying for business class seats. They separated us with no explanation and would not change them back. I was very upset. On the return flight, they tried to put us on standby! When again, we purchased seats in February for this flight. The plane was old and smaller and the business class seats were not comfortable like the flight from NYC. Flight attendants were hard to find once the first meal was served, luckily the flights were smooth.
Not boarding 60 minutes late. after getting bumped to this flight because ITA do not hold a flight for five minutes as the fight to the connection was 45 minutes late
Crew was good. Very nice staff. Wine was good. Problems- no AC while waiting for takeoff. Long wait so we should have been more comfortable. No water for quite awhile. Food should have been better for an Italian airline. Chicken was pressed rounds of processed meat- not tasty. We had only one hour for our connection- ran through airport- plane waited for us and staff was helpful.
Excellent once on board. Security staff at Johannesburg rude and aggressive.
I bought a ticket and paid for for our luggage but I had to pay for my luggage again. I’m so disappointed! We had a 30 min delay and because of that we missed our connecting flight and were told that we would be on the next flight (9am flight ) but we were landed we were booked at 12pm flight. I had a little baby w me, it was very stressful. I begged to leave at 10 am at least. I was emailed that we get a voucher but they didn’t work when we were at a breakfast store. I’ve been always happy w Lufthansa but this time was awful.
The flight attendants were rude in the DEL to FRA flight. The transfer between the two flights at Frankfurt International Airport was an unpleasant experience. The airplane was never parked at the terminal, but was deboarded instead on the tarmac itself. For those passengers in need of a wheelchair, it was a nightmare to come down the stairs and then rush across the airport to catch the connecting flight from FRA to IAH. Upon arriving at IAH, it was informed that the luggage had not arrived. Would make it a point never to travel with Lufthansa again.

Love the little chocolate bars, and consumer rights in EU regarding stepped refunds when flights are delayed.

We had a 1 1/2 hour delay before we left Denver. When we arrive to Frankfort, they didn’t announce that people with connecting flights to exit the plane first. My next flight was already boarding when we we taxiing in to the gate. I waited another 10 minutes to get off the plane. I had to run to catch my next flight. I mean run! I made it with one minute to spare, but my luggage did not. My luggage came two hours later on a different flight.
My flight was late from US to Frankfurt so I missed my connecting flight flight and I had to wait for long to catch the next flight which was very tiring. Otherwise everyone was very nice.
The media system is so inreliable, it keeps freezing and restarting at the begonning. Old planes with an old entertainment system makes a long flight very boring
Entertainment system is old, touch screen isn’t working properly. New movies should be added atleast once a month Should provide toothbrush and toothpaste at least when asked.
