Delayed take off but I think they waited for passengers.
Boarding was easy and well organized, Breakfast was not very good.
It was terrible, I was denied to board the plane because I don't have Germany visa, but I don't know I need a visa because all I want is go back to united state and I don't need to enter Germany. When I buy the ticket and checking in I entered my Chinese passport information and I did not get any notifications that I need apply for Germany visa. This trouble is generated totally by Lufthansa and they don't offer any useful help to solve my issue which cause huge problems to my travels.
Plane was delayed about an hour but nice crew and service
Two things to note here. First, Lufthansa separated me from my small children. Apparently you need to pay extra to ensure that your children are not abandoned. This is different from KLM-Air France, where children sit with their parents automatically, and I usually fly KLM-Air France. I didn't realize Lufthansa was different on this score and is willing to leverage the wellbeing of small children to generate more revenue. Second, my flight arrived 3 hours and 54 minutes late, so I am entitled to financial compensation as per EU passenger rights regulation. From other aspects of Lufthansa's behavior during this trip, I expect that their approach to this is to start a war of attrition with their passengers to avoid giving compensation as much as possible - again, very differently from KLM-Air France. But we'll see, maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised.
I will not fly them again. Late flight ( no communication as to why)… no one even remotely working to help those with connections that are very narrow off the plane in a hurry … NO ONE understood how to move … and 1/2 the plane was running to connections. I missed mine. Total pain in the arse. A 12 hour trip in total took like 20 hours…. Horrible. 1st Lufthansa flight - and will try not to book them again
Sun express is great. Frankfurt airport is the most horrible airport there is
well we had 1 hot delay in Lyon and because we were not updated by further delay from Frankfurt, I had to run so fast for like 20 minutes to reach gate for next flight and then I was told the plane had 1 hour delay...
Tickets, paying for bags, and the lack of help by employees was the worst. It took almost 1.5 hours to get this done. The airplane, seating, and stewards were amazing!!! That part of the flight was one of the better flights I have taken.
Flight was delayed nearly two hours and then luggage was delayed. Crappy.
