Pros:The location close to the beach was the only truly good thing about this hotel....also, we received a nice discounted rate because the hotel was under construction.
Cons:I’m not one to complain, but this hotel was pretty much a letdown from the beginning. First, they gave us a room that faced the wall… The room was pitch black during the daytime… Because it literally faced the wall. When I asked to switch to a room with some sunlight, they told me it would be $10 more a night. Annoyed, I agreed to the up-charge and switched rooms only to find fecal matter smeared on the floor of the bathroom in the new room. Gross! The energy saving lightbulbs made the room seem uncomfortable and cold because of the fluorescent lighting. Also, the water pressure was nonexistent and it took 40 minutes just to wash the shampoo and conditioner out of your hair. We will never stay here again… I’ll make a reservation at a bed and breakfast instead.
