Cons:Not having dogs in the room across the hall that barked constantly.

Pros:The room was pretty sparse, lacking even an easy chair. But the bedroom and bath were clean, dining room, reservations, and cleaning staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons:No easy chair to sit in. So one had to sit on desk chair or bed.

Pros:The outdoor scenery is beautifully maintained! Sufficient easy parking. Lobby is very welcoming! Staff is very friendly and helpful. You would never know this place was dog-friendly its super clean! The rooms were spacious, clean and quiet with comfy beds. Bathrooms were clean and well supplied. Breakfast has a nice set-up with many options to choose from. This hotel is truly an ideal place to stay! We will definitely stay here again!

Pros:The staff was friendly and helpful, and the complementary breakfast was very good. Every day there were some hot options in addition to the regular breads, pastries, and cold cereals. The location is convenient, with easy access to routes I-5 and 205.
Cons:The room in general was very worn and shabby, and not dirty, but not really clean either. Our room was very dark with inadequate lighting and electrical outlets. It was almost impossible to read in the room, especially after sundown. There are too few lights, no overhead lighting, and the lamps are ill positioned. Moreover, if you have more than a couple of phones or computers that need recharging regularly, you have to get creative to find enough outlets to plug in the rechargers - such as unplugging the lamps which makes the room darker. Parking at the LaQuinta in Salmon Creek was WOEFULLY inadequate. If you return to the hotel after 9 pm, good luck. There are businesses on each side of the hotel that have signs posted that hotel guests' cars parked in their lots will be towed at owners expense, suggesting this has been a long-standing problem. There are too few parking spots for the number of rooms at the hotel, and not all guests are considerate about parking carefully to fit as many cars in the lot as possible, so some spaces were wasted every night. The staff had no work-around suggestions, so get in early or be prepared to wing it.

Pros:I love the ambience when you first come in to check in, the front seat last was so welcoming and the cookies are the best lol specially after a long and tiring drive it's appreciated. The breakfast is wonderful knowing you have a hot rest meal to start the day and the lady assigned very accommodating like a mom. I'd love to stay there again. Thanks for having us.

Pros:We hadn't stayed at La Quinta before and were very impressed with the value. If you want a really comfortable bed and shower, this is the place. You have a microwave and frig in the room, the room is large and they are pet friendly. A full breakfast buffet in the morning was not what we were expecting and it was truly fabulous, included in the room charge. We'll be back.
Cons:It's pretty minor, but there weren't too many amenities in the bathroom, such as lotion. There was shampoo and soap, but that was it. There were stains on the main room and wallpaper was peeling a bit in the bathroom. Nothing that would affect your stay, but just a few things we noticed.
