The location is the only thing I like about this hotel. No hot water in the shower, bed was extremely uncomfortable, dogs barking all night and loud people in the hallways, staff referring to me as “bro” and messing up my room choice then when asked to resolve the issue “ nah bro you will have to wait I’m off the clock bro” mind you this was 1 minute after he was done assisting another person. The casino itself is nice but the heat is turned up so high it felt like a sauna in there. Called the front desk about the cold shower save their response was to waste water for 10 minutes until hot then if during the shower it gets cold again, turn off the shower she wait another 10 minutes to get hot water again. Folks you’re better off staying at a motel 6 and walking to the casinos than actually being in this hotel.

Pros: decent location, small fitness center, a few on-site restaurants Cons: many staff were rude/unpleasant, pool is not heated/freezing, no beach/lake pass, no coffee maker or hair dryer in room, not a good value for the money, $25 parking fee p/night Felt like I was paying for the name; will never stay at this or any HRH in the future.

Pros:We really enjoyed the courteous staff at check in and they accommodated it us for a noon check out. We really loved the bed and pillows in the room plus the pool area.
Cons:we reported a complaint that our shower head fell off and it almost injured my foot, they never came to fix it and on top of it nobody cared to follow up, we couldn’t take a shower, had no compensation for that hand paid the resort fee on top of it

Cons:We were pretty disappointed with our stay at the Hardrock. I had been saving up for awhile to surprise my boyfriend with a trip for his 30th birthday. I paid extra for a “lake view” room and the only window in our room overlooked the parking lot. I contacted the concierge prior to arriving, and after 4 attempts, I was able to order a personalized birthday surprise for the room (champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.) When we arrived there was no note and the chocolate covered strawberries were completely melted even though I specified our arrival time. There was also no microwave or fridge in the room so we had to go out and buy a cooler for the food we bought at the local grocery store. Considering we came for a special occasion, I wasn’t all that impressed with the quality, especially for the price.

Pros:View was nice. Location right at stateline was really nice. Easy to walk or ride to where we wanted to go.
Cons:Can easily tell this was an old hotel that was renovated. AC in room wouldn't get below 75* and when I asked to have a tech come and check it out, they never arrived. Called the front desk late after waiting for someone to come, I requested someone to fix while we were gone the next day. Said they couldn't put in a repair note for the next day. I would have to call in the morning. Were also fixing the parking lot and it was a mess. Would have liked to know when checking in where to park as not to get my car trashed.
