Pros:Easy of parking, plenty of room in car park
Cons:Whole place seemed tired and run down. Staff lacked any customer service skills, did not engage with guests and had the wrong attitude for the hotel trade. Back in Reading next week, and will not be returning to this hotel.

Pros:Location is nice and tranquil yet close to major transport and cities
Cons:The fact that it had been flooded more than 2 years ago and not repaired yet combined with a Major fire that burnt down and shut down half of the hotel that was still awaiting to be fully demolished or rebuilt. Food offerings were light and poor. Overall the Hotel needs a significant update. One assumes that this will happen should the flooded and fire ravaged half of the building be redeveloped. Would not stay here again whilst in its current condition.
