The location is good, close to the Taksim square but far enough from the major action. I would still try to get rooms higher if possible, there is the concert hall next to the hotel and when I checked in the sound from the concert can be heard inside the room (facing towards the sea). The hotel is boutique size, so is nice and intimate. Same goes for the restaurant (breakfast area). The room is nice and possibly one of the better showers that I have seen in hotels (large and you don't get water leaking everywhere). However, there were some rips in the bedsheet, which is not big deal, but kind of odd for a 5 star hotel.

Pros:Extremely helpful staff especially Khalil and Mustafa, location is just great especially I have young kids (not far from Taksim), great service and very reposnsive.
Cons:Room was with parking view and one tree and still called garden view, room was two floors under lobby (as if in parking), no pool or in hotel facility for kids. Room was too small for couple with two kids.

Pros:Creative and practical design , view of the Bosporus, good breakfast, excellent location , attentive and helpful staff .

Pros:Location is 10 minutes walk from downtown. Clean and Okay view.
Cons:I did not like the fact that I got stolen (Laptop value over $700)! But I was shocked from the response of the management team in the hotel! I was treated with cold faces and they questioned my own integrity. I ended up trying to defend myself for some reason!! They did not offer any help, I was put on the side and was given least priority. They did not seem even surprised. I think it is not the first time there. Unfortunately I could not call the police because it was my last night. My advice if you go there .... do not leave anything valuable.
