There are several Vietnamese and Western restaurants in the surroundings. Hotel Tulip is conveniently situated just a 15-minute drive to Truc Lam Temple and a 45-minute drive to Lien Khuong Airport. The rooms are beautifully decorated and come fitted with freshly laundered beddings and warm lighting. They also have a flat-screen cable TV and a seating area. Cons:We noticed some mold around the window frames and on the window curtains. Recommend a full cleansing. Having air conditioning in all rooms would keep the air dry and mold from growing. If mold is not taken care of, it would become black mold that can be dangerous to the lungs.
Pros:Staff was very nice and hotel is conveniently located in tourist district.
Cons:Room was extremely moist and without A/C there wasn't anything we could do about it. Pervasive smell of cleaning supplies was irritating and someone (staff? other guests? neighbors?) was extremely loud talking and banging away during the day. Blanket was little more than a lumpy bag of cotton. I originally booked 2 nights in advance but after the first, I swallowed my losses and moved on to another place. Was offered a room at Tulip 2 for no extra charge, which I appreciate but it didn't seem an appreciable improvement.
