Cons:They overcharge you in every way they can including using a fake exchange rate so you will be billed in Q not USD as the booking sites quote. The conversion rate from USD to Q results in a higher price to pay. They charge for the shuttle more per person than Uber or a taxi costs

Pros:A very nice hotel but the highlight of everything was how friendly the staff is at all moments. Thanks for everything and continue with the great customer service.
Cons:I think a few more signs in the parking lot directing you to the elevators of the hotel will help a bit but other than that everything was good.

Pros:Grand Tikal Futura is a beautiful hotel, and though more expensive than most hotels in Guatemala, very worth it. I was treated well during my stay and offered assistance with anything I needed. The room was immaculately clean and the beds were firm, though comfortable. Thank you.
Cons:We did dine in the restaurant on the second floor and were overcharged for a salad we didn't order or eat. When I brought it up with the server (in Spanish), he kept apologizing, but didn't seem to want to correct it until I persisted (we had accidentally already paid him in Quetzales). I do hope the managers allow for some human error, which all servers experience from time-to-time.

Pros:The rooms were spacious and the pool was huge. The location of the hotel is great! It is very central to shopping and restaurants. We will definitely return.
Cons:The waiting time for us to check into our room was lengthy; but, there was a karate convention that weekend, which was held at or right next to the hotel, so they were quite busy. Our reservation was for our choice of either a king bed and sofa bed, or for two double beds. We chose two double beds but they did not have a room to accommodate us; instead we stayed in a room with a king and no sofa bed. We were upset but they did bring in a comfortable rollaway bed- so it turned out very well. For the price, I feel breakfast should have been included.

Pros:I loved the room, the restaurants and the overall area. Staff was helpful and always providing more than enough information. Great, great service. I'm staying there again every time I travel to Guatemala.
Cons:Getting there with traffic can be a hassle...
