Pros:Stayed here with my 16-year-old son for three nights; nice area; desk staff was courteous; we were able to check in a couple hours early; lots of food markets and restaurants nearby; this is a fine/functional hotel-- nothing tremendous but nothing horrible; a good value for $100 per night this close to Hyde Park
Cons:There was some street noise as groups of people staying in the surrounding hotels were walking up and down the street at night; rooms are small, but what I expected for a four-star hotel in London

Pros:The location was okay and the hotel was clean.
Cons:The staff was particularly unhelpful and not attentive. No one would look at us, let alone say hello when we entered the lobby. Our room was a "family room" with four beds crammed into a room meant for two. If you can't accommodate four people then don't say you can. We were also in the basement next to the breakfast area. Not only was the set-up crew noisy at 6AM, our smoke alarm went off at 7AM because of toast in the toaster.
